These terms apply when you use bluecarboston.com (the "site"). By using the site, you agree to them. "BlueCar," "we" and "us" mean Bluecar LLC.

Bookings and the rental agreement

A booking made on the site is a request. It's confirmed only when we confirm it with you and your license is verified. Every rental is governed by the rental agreement you sign before pickup, along with our rental policies and cancellation policy. If these terms conflict with your rental agreement, the rental agreement applies.

Prices and information on the site

We work to keep prices, photos, car details and availability accurate, but mistakes can happen and cars can change. If we find an error in a price or detail for your booking, we'll contact you before your rental starts to sort it out. Taxes and surcharges are shown before you book.

Your responsibilities

When you use the site, you agree to:

  • give accurate, current information about yourself and any drivers;
  • only book for yourself or with permission from the person you're booking for;
  • not misuse the site, including trying to break its security, overload it, or collect data from it with automated tools.

Our content

The text, photos, illustrations and logos on the site belong to BlueCar or are used with permission. Car maker names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify the cars we rent. You may not copy or reuse site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Calls, texts and emails

If you agree when you book or contact us, BlueCar (Bluecar LLC) may call, text and email you about your quote request or reservation, such as booking confirmations, reminders, pickup and drop-off coordination and support, and may also send promotional offers, special offers and other marketing messages. Agreeing is optional and isn't a condition of renting.

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop text messages, or HELP for help. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any of them.
  • Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Links to other sites

The site links to other services, such as Turo, Instagram, and the third-party services we use to verify licenses and insurance. We don't control those sites, and their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is." We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Massachusetts consumer protection law that can't be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, BlueCar isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site, such as lost profits or lost data. This doesn't limit our responsibilities under your rental agreement or any liability that can't be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any dispute about the site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Changes don't affect a booking we've already confirmed.
